hi. I was a minute to late with a file upload when it passed from open to top 5. I think you might like it, but currently i am in sixth place, so can't upload. If you would care to see it, you could put me in top 5 long enough for me to upload and then reconfigure. (I had a couple of other designs in progress as well, but don't expect you to put me in 5th long enough to finish those). If you decide you would like to see that entry, please message me when you move me into place temporarily, so that i don't miss the opportunity. Either way, thank you for letting me participate in your contest.
Also, if you would like to see any variations on any of my entries (colors, fonts, additions, subtractions or just suggestions) please ask. Happy to do. thanks. C
Entry #304 Please remove the phrase "Life Energy Center" and add the TM trademark symbol to "crystal earth"
Comments: 1.decrease the spacing between the design and the nomenclature, and increase the size of the font for "crystal earth" 2. Use a significantly darker tone- the logo appears too faint.
pps: just got your message re: 304. Am happy to do. However, since i am in 6th place and it is top 5 designers currently, i will not be able to upload unless i am in top 5. Would you like me to contact you after I have made the changes? thanks C
Ranked # 304 Your logo is very intriguing as it looks a little like a nautilus shell. I like the nautilus shell for its symbolism that fits well with my business. Can you make it look a bit more like a nautilus shell but still keeping it unique? Can you make the lettering and colors brighter but still staying in the blues? It needs to stand out more but keep its softness.
You received comments from two of us at Crystal Earth, so we apologize for any confusion. We ranked Entry #313 number 2 because the nautilus shell theme is very intriguing. Not sure if that was your original intent, but the symbolism fits our criteria: 1) spirituality and sacred geometry 2) association with a natural or nature 3) Since we are located on an island on Lake Huron, something from the sea
Having said that, we are looking for more stylized version of a nautilus shell. A design that is powerful, but recognizable as a nautilus shell. Entries # 315 and #316 appear confusing. Let us know if you need more clarification
actually did do the original as a form combining a feel of nature/growth and use of the sacred geometry of the spiral. 316 is actually formed from a stylized scan of a real nautilus, but i will try for something more graphic.
btw 311 and 314 are based on the number 7 for chakrahs. The symbols are symbols of elements and growth with the outside set being outreaching people (stylized arms and head).
Combine # 313 and # 318. If this makes sense; # 313 isn't really a nautilus shell, however # 318 is too much of a depiction of a nautilus shell and not enough of a stylized design where elements are recognizable as nautilus shell but the overall effect is lighter in appearance not shading. Imagine what a black and white copy would look like...
343 sort of gives the feeling of both the nautilus and a fiddle head fern, combining two elements of nature (water, flow: fiddle head:earth/grounding/growth). Both with the sacred geometry
340 has the stylized nautilus and the way the gradient sits it almost gives a refracting light/crystal/stellar feel.
Let me know if i am any closer to what you would like on the newest nautilus forms. Or if i am going in the wrong direction. (i tried to combine the two entries as you mentioned above in your last comment).
Entry # 340 -Use this entry as your template- like the shape and direction of the shell Please re-submit #340 with the color scheme of #342 and use all capital letters for "CRYSTAL EARTH with the "C" and the "E" slightly larger
Hi, me again. I was just trying to upload one like you just placed in fifth only with a graduated sun in the interior and a bluer shell. If you can place me in first for just long enough to put it up and then reorder, would really appreciate. Let me know when if you do, so that i don't miss the opportunity. Thanks. C
pps: to the above (i meant 375 when i was referring to the one you just placed in 5th--i see you just shifted something else there, so i didn't want to confuse you. the new one is 375 with an interior sun to light type gradient
