Really, really like this - #12. Like the color, and the simplicity of the design. I like the font, could you explore some lowercase options maybe? Really like it though, looking forward to seeing more...you are in the #one slot!
Thank you very much. It is one if those designs I just loved how it worked as I was making it. I don't know if that makes any sense, but as a designer sometimes it just feels right, often it doesn't.
That's great Erik and it does make sense. Only thing I would add if you feel like submitting something new or tweaking this one...We are a young, growing church in Missoula Montana. Montana is an area full of beauty and mountains and rivers. Several (5) valleys come together to form one big growing valley community.
Actually, what if the circle in the bottom was in the shape of mountains...same color shadow type thing, just subtle mountains?
I'm not a huge fan of the lowercase option because the letter P ends up being too off center, which I can't kern out without making it look to unbalanced. So what I did on #46 was move the church to the right side, which then makes me think the icon should be on the right as well. I like it. You're the boss though so what are your thoughts?
I'm going to be honest with you. I've never been a big fan of lettermarks for churches. I'm not sure why, maybe it's the corporate nature of a lettermark (like the "Styles that we are interested in:" section in the brief).
I'll work on it though. I want to try adding an additional color too.
