I like both of you designs, but there are a few changes that I would like.
1) put the tag ine beneath the logo ("we're your greatest critic")
2) try to add some element that implies critic, such as stars

It's looking good, but I'd like to try something else:

start with #275, make the film strip just an outline like in #276, and make the surface of the ball be stars that you see behind the film strip. Does that make sense?

I love #292. I'm a little worried that it may look like it's a global movie site. Could you try the same type look with a 3-dimensional star instead of the ball with stars?

Hmmm. The star doesn't look like it will work. I like the concept of the ball, but it is just too overwhelming. Maybe smaller or a different color? I don't know.

Can you make the logo just a star made out of a film strip, but make it 3-dimensional so that the corners of the star are the wrapping of the film?
