Crescendo with MusicLogo Design Contest

not without more direction sorry... I was trying to do different from what you had in the contest... but not clear. do you want children in it ? instruments? dancing? or just notes and symbols or ? do you want fun and funky or simple and more serious? Would animals work?

Hi! Sorry to not have been very clear, and thanks for quick response!

I liked the font and idea of the green/purple children one (sorry - I think I accidentally put it in the wrong rank area, I didn't mean to), but all the kids were a bit too much/too big.

Generally, we're looking for a simple, but playful with a hint of funk look. (definitely NOT serious!). Colors, but not too many. Animals absolutely OK if not too random/big, instruments OK - piano would be ideal, children in it OK... but possibly not everything in the same logo. Does that help?

Hi again! Is it at all possible to get the green/purple one back? I liked some of the kids in it. SO SORRY AGAIN!

Thanks so much for your submission, and bringing it back! (so sorry about the mix-up). Wanted to share a few additional ideas and thoughts.

General ideas:
We really love this design, and really appreciate the general feel of it. It feels like it has character and personality and is unique. It's super creative and original. We would love to see other completely different ideas if possible though - as we trust your designs will be really interesting!

We don't have a specific notion of the logo, so are very open to ideas. All we are guiding our decisions by are the general comments in the profile. We are looking for a mix of seriousness with fun, as well as personality.

A few specific ideas that may help:

-font: absolutely LOVE the "crescendo" font. LOVE IT!!! Maybe the "with music" could be a bit different?

-color: not crazy about the color palette (I know purple was one of our colors!) because all the characters (letters and children) seem equally important. Perhaps the word crescendo itself could pop a little bit more? (different color?)

-LOVE the little kids (ALL of them), they are adorable! The only thing is that they feel a bit much (I think maybe there are too many? or maybe it's too many because of the symbols?).

Besides the points above and in previous comments, please let me know if this helps, and if there's any other specific info would be helpful.

Hi! Thanks for the new submission. Don't like #51 though, it has too many things going on. The font is too ornate/feminine, the keyboard is too big, and the children are too realistic. Let's remove that one. #50 is still too similar to #43. It has too many graphics - could you please try it more simple? Also, would love to see a different color palette for it. Would also love to see new designs!

Thanks for the new submissions! Really like 50, 59, 43. Let's stick with that logo, and eliminate 57/58. Am thinking about more specific ideas, but in the meantime wanted to let you know that's where we're at in terms of what we like. Will write more later tonight or early tomorrow. Thank you!

Before we move to the next round, we would like to see some changes that are incorporated to the 50/59/43 logo.

FONT:
-like crescendo font, keep as is
-OK "with music" from 59, but would like to see smaller size font (could we try from first "e" to the low stick in "n"?)

COLORS:
still not quite sure, so let's leave them as they are (I imagine that's easy to change later on)

GRAPHICS:
-let's remove the cleff, 32nd and 8th notes

KIDS:
-we like the girl standing on the N just like in #50
-we'd like to incorporate a boy/girl holding hands like in #43 (including the boy in the right, and the girl jumping rope - but without the rope), but would like to invert the boy, and have him rest on the second c of of crescendo, and the girl on the s (I'm not sure if I explained that super clear or if it's quite possible - please let me know if that doesn't make sense)

-for the boy/girl holding hands, could it be possible to see them a bit further away (smaller) than the girl standing on the n? we'd like to see an effect of them all running towards eachother

NEW IDEA:
-not sure exactly how to describe this at the moment (will be easier to explain once we get an idea of what the new kids described above look like), but would like to incorporate a super light staff with floating notes on it in the background behind the kids. We're thinking of the staff as almost like a wave (not a rigid staff), that will give the logo movement... (staff and notes in light gray or any other super super light color so it's clearly in the background)

Hi, thanks. But not quite what I had described, there are a few times that were not changed from the list above. Here are the items:

COLORS:
still not quite sure, so let's leave them as they are (I imagine that's easy to change later on).
-please leave in purple (not red). Also, please leave the C in crescendo in lower case.

KIDS:

I can try but you are using music terms that maybe I don't understand... I wish you could stand behind me and give directions... I can try to work on it after dinner if it is still open.

-would like the size of the 2 kids holding hand to be the same size as the 2 kids in left in #68

2. we'd like to keep a 3rd child which is the girl standing on the "n" as she is in #68

3. please remove all other kids from the logo

STAFF:
let's remove the staff and all musical notes for now, please! let's focus on seeing if we can get the kids in the right places.
