I wanted to convey the idea of a strong, secure defender with my logo design for you. This is why I have the shield with the custom "d" on it--the up arrow is meant to signify increasing your credit score--and it is supposed to signify a strong crest of protection. I then incorporated the same custom "d" into the wordmark layout to accompany the crest. I look forward to hearing what you think. Thanks!
And here is an alternate, vertically stacked layout--either one could work great, depending on the placement and space for your logo on any given medium.
We really appreciate you providing insight into how you went about developing the logo. Of the three, we like #1 the most. We like the placement of the words (not stacked), and think that a white background would work best.
We like the idea of an icon and feel that the shield works, as it ties in with the idea of a defender and being secure, but think that the design of it could be different. The "d" inside the shield isn't quite resonating with us. I am obvioulsy not a designer, though, so am finding it difficult to articulate why.
