Hi, here's my initial entry for your consideration. I know you said you wanted a wordmark or letterform mark, but I had an idea for an abstract. I really appreciate you answering my question on the main page, because it allowed me to do some thinking on the subject. This design doesn't signify a drum, but rather, the sound created by a drum -- like percussion spiraling out from a drum. I'd love to have your feedback. Many thanks!
Here are some simple lettermarks -- any of these will work in one color. I love it when contest holders understand how important that is! Interestingly, all of these CS combinations for some reason remind of ears, which I suppose also have a connection to the word "drum". Thanks!
