I agree with you. I think I was thinking ahead about an animated version for the website even though I don't know at this point how that's gonna work out. But Im glad at least one idea is shaping quite nicely in the shape of your design. Thank you for all your hard work and for being open to suggestions as well!
...well,...probably kill! Simplicity is the key in contemporary design,...flat colors, simpler forms. Gradients, effects, 3D icons,...all in the past and in today's aesthetics mostly considered a kitsch. My advice (as someone raised on Italian, German and British design),...keep it simpler, flat colors and forms! Hope this helps!

...here's an idea,...two lines of fresh green gravy on the plate,...it gives the whole thing that fresh served look, and it is not too busy! Let me know what you think!
I've done some exploring with colors on entries #107, #108 and #109! ...I've also increased slogan a bit,...if we go all the way under the main text, it'll take some focus from it, so I've expanded it as much as possible!

Uhm it looks almost like the Microsoft logo with the blue :) I like the original pastel colors, I was just thinking if you maybe can add like an extra symbol somewhere around the plate in a light but bright green to suggest freshness
We'd also like to see the slogan lettering expand (so it will stretch from the letter C to the last E), unless you thing the ration will look unnatural.

Here's one simple concept, with meal gift wraped on a plate (tasty surprise delivered on your plate), with round shaped lane, creating a plate shape, a s a symbol of fast delivery. I've also presented monochromatic version on #96!
