Look at figure 3)

This is real close. Concentrating on the center of the "A". Right now that is a flame, but if you just round and smooth out the top where it forms the flame. It would be appropriately shaped like a cam lobe. Then make the internal dot a larger circle, moving it up a bit. I think that would do it.

Yes and no. This, with the "E" from #27 and more of a cam lobe shape (less teardrop) inside the "A" (and without slanting the outline of the letter)

Also, my boss mentioned shortening the line in the "I" so you could fit in very a small flame.

We are leaning towards this design. Can you close in the connector in the right side of the "E" ? Can you rework the shape in the "A" to be a slanted oval (even if you had to thicken the sides to achieve the effect (in other words a wider letter but not taller)
