Another option might be to fatten the skinny part on the tail end.

One final request. I'm getting some feedback that they think the "C" needs to be shorter on the tail end and wider on the left side. Is that something you can tweak? My guess is that you may have to nudge the C closer to the "R" if you shorten the tail. As it is, it is missing the connectivity that the R & A have. I don't think they have to be touching (the C & R) but don't want the C to look like it is sitting by itself. Hope this all makes sense.
