entry#3 - i like the girls head and how the font is sleek and not cursive, can we try different color options just to see what it looks like . i think i prefer a white background. can we do an icon whimsical like this but maybe has eyes or plays into couture/fashion but not overtly? i'm liking your ideas.

ALSO, i think your Starshire Ranch emblem Logos are super cool. could you maybe try something like that as well? maybe with eyes and plays into fashion/couture?

I'm still playing with making an emblem that has eyes in it like the Alpaca Ranch design. (One that doesn't look creepy. LOL! )

In the mean time I've played with an emblem design using the girl's head, as well as a couple of other 'eye' options.

I may try using eyes for the "OO" in look... though not so sure it's the strongest choice.

There's a lot of possibilities here!

yes keep 'em coming! i can tell you are relaly talented. really think the emblem is cool. how can we incorporate style or fashion into it? i wonder if sharper colors would be edgier? as far as silhouettes go, could we also try a body down a catwalk or something like that....anything catwalkish? (haha, like that really makes sense)

haha, i'm having a brainstorming session: catwalk, runway, cat eyes, i'm not a big "shopping bag" fan - where you see lots of blogs with curly-Q fonts and with girls holding shopping bags like they've been shopping.

So, anything runway-ish is great too. i like where we are headed and hope you dont think i'm being too specific....just trying to walk through it with you because i can tell you have talent

for entry#13 - maybe try the black pupils as silhouttes? and the eyes more hipnotic-colored?

for all the eyes that you do, i like the whispy long eyelashes better than the curly ones... :)

No I totally know what you mean! Not a problem at all, I like specific! I too was kind of trying to think of 'fashion' type things, I was thinking shoes, but I didn't want to limit it to just one kind of clothes...so I yes, I think a catwalk figure would be best. NO shopping bags! :-P

In my portfolio, I have a logo for "Mature Lynx" with a silhouette woman -- course she is more, um, 'playboy' and less runway. I can do something similar though for sure! With a more 'svelte' woman.

I was thinking the same thing actually! (about the sketches) Our power has been out because of storms, but I am still working on some new designs. :-)

Just trying out the eyes as Os..... still working on doing a runway model inside the pupil for consideration. I wanted to expand on the sketch idea first.

for 28 - any way youcould do it where it's a bit more dramatic/artsy/sketched? it kind of has too much of a bridal feel.....i'm lliking where you are going though.

an idea too for the design sketches - the girl could be facing back, but head turned looking so that you see one eye?

for #13 - could you try doing the pupils as lady design sketches?

for entry #13 - can you make the eyes a blue color and eyelashes really whipsy and also make the pupils into silhouettes of ladies (but more pronounced - similar to how i have it in my sample attachments?)
