Try to concentrate on the actual working and fonts first, as our founders are looking for a modern / NOW feel.

They're also into a rustic look and skateboard brands. So they're looking for a pretty hip logo

Please stay away from the stereo-type country music feel, unless it is very different and minimal

#141 we were possible of thinking of using hands, although it would be good to see real palms and real finger/palm prints

we may work with this Soles 4 Souls and they use feet: http://www.soles4souls.org/

So maybe we could use hands. But the hands need to look like they are giving and not begging. I'd work on ways of getting the hands to flow with a logo or within the logo in a cool style:) Remember our bosses are ex-skateboarders

#141. my only concern with "realness' and adding finger prints etc is scaleability when you make it small the detail will drop off or printing tshirts will be difficult to hold small detail. the nice thing about abstract is the lack of fine detail.

whether it's the lettering in a pick or one of the letters being in the pick, or just GIVES BACK in the pick

#399 #400 and #401 the angle is too harsh - it needs to be pointing towards more like between 2 and 3 o'clock

we'd like to see two variations of #375

please loose the stars on both and keep the wood graininess you have

1) just loose the stars and keep the same

2) place the logo on a white background
maybe have GIVES with bark outline
and BACK in a dark color

then show us 'black & white' versions of both new logos
