Hi,

My entry. I created a hand holding a microphone. The top part of the microphone symbolizes the world, referring to global reach.

Let me know what you think.

The hand I created represents strong and bold music. My inspiration with the globe being the mic came from your video on the about page of your website (interview in amsterdam). "The citizen of the world" - The concept of working with different cultures/people in different places and combining these to create unique music. Really love your music!

If you have any feedback, suggestions or questions just ask me.

New entry #55

Used a more rectangular font and added music, to show you what that looks like.

#52 is really good - it has everything about the brand. I think the fist (or the way that the fist looks) is a bit too opposing maybe - almost like it's about a political statement. Not sure about it yet but maybe should be more of a smooth hand (if that's possible).

Also, is there a way to make the logo a bit more "vintage". It has the feel of what we're doing now, maybe just a bit more old-school (if that makes sense).

Thanks for all of your work. We're based in Amsterdam so there should be an opportunity to meet in person at some point.

Two new entries.

#60 - variation with a more smoother hand.
#61 - edited version of 52 with more realistic fingers making it looking more a hand then a fist.

Still working on the vintage feel.

I like the hand in #52 and #61 better. I agree about it looking like some sort a political statement. It was my intention to create a powerful looking hand. That represents when people from different cultures coming together it has powerful results and shows total freedom of making the music you want. But that's just me. :)

#80 - vintage effect

What kind of colors would you use for something like this (if any)? Just curious. I realize that the color scheme may actually come last, but I'm just curious if you think some coloring might make it stand out even more.

I can imagine bright/deep red being stong on this. I can upload some various color schems if you want?

Uploaded some colors. But if you ask for my opinion, I have to say black is best. It has the highest contrast and therefor stands out the most. And it's easy to reverse it to white when backgrounds are dark.

New entry #88 - I felt the thumb was a bit of in 80 so worked that out more realistic.
Also emphasized the vintage effect more. Let me know which you like best.

#89 - better thumb with the effect of entry 80

#89 is a great logo. We are getting down to the final phase.

My latest thoughts are that the hand and microphone are great. Now, I want to see if there's a way to slightly separate the hand and microphone from the word "Correspondence". Meaning, The word "Correspondence could be a bit more prominent at the bottom and kind of float there, and then there some kind of fading separation and the hand and microphone come out of the top. This way, I'm not looking into a box to see "Correspondence".

Does that make sense?

The angle of the thumb in #61 is best, I think, in the style of hand in #89. Small detail.

Don't like it when the hand is detached like #90 - But that's just me. It looks more stronger and a whole when together.

OK, we are down to the final phase. I still like #91, but now I'd like to see if you can try to create one entirely different concept that might stand out with the rest.

I'm currently considering the top 3 only.

If you would like to take another try and see what you can come up with to fit the brand, I would love to see what you can create. I will switch you to the number 1 position in a day or so, so that you can make new entries. If you are ready and I haven't switched it yet, just let me know and I will do so.

Thanks for all of your hard work.

No different concept, but maybe an improvement. Added a vinyl record to make the look and feel a bit more old school. The concept with the hand mic globe is the best I can come up with according the brief. I feel it represents everything (energy/music/global reach) Good luck with your choice.

Withdrawn my entry with the vinyl, because Mr_Do felt like it was too close to his design.
