On first impressions, I love your work. I like the bold use of color. However, my business has to have a slight edge of sophistication. I think your work is super, but has a comic book genre quality. I am not sure how it would translate onto business cards and letterhead. I actually moved your entry #16 up, because one of my colleagues liked it because it did represent a square stone. My concern is that it may look like a thousand other logos.Thank you for your efforts!
Thank you for the feedback. In fact you might have been right. These kind of logos can represent almost any company that has CS, GS or any combination of C, G and S initials. For example: http://www.gslaw.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Grasshopper-Club_Z%C3%BCrich.png http://www.z-no.org/images/sc%20logo.jpg And the list can continue. In fact one of the designers in the contest had a private message to me asking to remove one of my entries using the CSG initials as he believed it is too close to one of his entries. As you can see these initials and the way they play are not quite unique and it's actually a common aproach. Based on my long time experience as a logo designer I strongly suggest to move in a different and more representative direction, avoiding the obvious.
