The design is too corporate looking. Our client works more with residential homes, although he does work on some commercial buildings, we need the logo to reflect the residential aspect of his work.
One important aspect of this logo is that it needs to be able to be separate from the name. An example would be the Nike swoosh. It can be separate from the name, yet still recognizable, and it can go with the name and still look good. But entry number 24 is definitely going in the right direction.
