This is a good interpretation of the direction I gave - thanks! A few tweaks on the corn plants from a framers perspective. The leaves on the first small plant on the left are too much the shape of tree leaves. They should be more like the leaves on your second plant and there should be two of them. The second corn plant should not have tassels, but should start showing 2 ears of corn wrapped in their leaves. The third plant will have the tassels and two fully matured ears of corn. Thanks much!
I did the changes, just to clarify, I noticed another designer did it too, was that the client idea or the designer idea? Because we cannot copy other designers. Thanks.
I like the logo, however, client is thinking in a different direction. Could you see what you can do with this idea: the word COPPESS in all caps, san-serif, to the right of the 'S' in COPPESS are 3-4 corn plants in various stages of maturity/growth (2/3 leaf plant to a mature plant w/tassel). Add a brown underline beneath the COPPESS type and the corn plant graphics to represent the soil/earth the corn plants are growing in, then the words FAMILY FARMS beneath the brown line in all caps.
I like this version! The theme line should not be part of the actual logo composition - it's too busy and hard to read. Can you try this with the FAMILY FARMS in the same font size as it is now but place it in an arch below the corn circle. Then make the COPPESS type twice as large and arch it above the corn circle.
