We had not had any real thoughts of having the shack in the logo. Very suprised how much we like this. The use of " a grub shack" is an attempt to make sure that the name does not convey a impression of a higher end concept. We also feel that it may send a message of the irreverent attitude and non cliche restaurant we are developing. We both had successful careers with a "giant" in the casual industry and have decided to try to take "playing restaurant" back to the place of fun, scratch made food with no small blue light fixture hanging over the table. That is everywhere!
