I really like your design sense (on the designs you've submitted for my logo, and others in your portfolio). In your portfolio, you seem to have two types of design styles: clean-and-simple designs, and your more "painterly" styles. For my logo, I'm looking for clean-and-simple.
#110 and #114 are my favorite two of the designs you submitted. I wouldn't choose #110, as—again—I'm not looking for that painterly style, but I think it's a cool design in its own right.
I'd be very interested in seeing more design ideas from you. Thanks!
Your new designs for #134, #135, and #136 are very interesting to me. I really like both the simplicity, and the ingenious use of white space to suggest the letter "C" in the logo design. I also like how, based on your three submissions, the logo seems like it will work well with both multiple-colors or in all black.
I can't think of a situation where I'd present the logo on a solid red background, as in #135 and #136, so I think you can steer clear of that tactic. I find it interesting how the logo changes as you "tilt" the C in different directions... I can best read the logo as a "C" in entry #135, but I'm not sure that's the orientation in which the logo is most visually interesting...
Additionally, I like #134 because it's multi-colored and on a white background, but (for design reason I'm sure you could explain better than I) it's not as interesting for me to look at as the other two...
All-in-all, I'm very intrigued by logos along this path, and I'd love to see further examples, or perhaps additional logos in this same "family..."
#231 - I love this! Could I see a version with the "grittiness" removed (i.e., solid colors?). Also, could I see an alt typeface? I like the san-serif, but this isn't my favorite font. Thanks!
We're in the Top 5 phase and your entry #263 is my current top choice.
Couple of requests: -Could we darken the red so that it's not such a primary color?
-Could I see a version of the entry in just black and white? I suppose in this case the heart would become white and the star would become black? I think a black-and-white version could be useful to put on scripts and other documents that would be copied in monochrome. If I chose your design, would you be willing to send me both the full color version and the black and white version?
-Could I see a few alternate configurations of the words "Contrary" and "Content"? Perhaps with contrary on top, content on the bottom? Perhaps with "Contrary" bigger and "Content" smaller? Perhaps Contrary bold and Content thin?
also in your ligal contract we sign both - the winning designer must send you color, black and white, grayscae, different file formats. it will be done for free from every winner so dont worry about that.
Just for comparison's sake, would it be possible to see a version of the fist logo more "streamlined"—i.e., smoothing it out to look slightly more modern and abstract?
Sorry, I think my note may have been unclear. I quite like your fist logo holding the heart with the start. I just wondered if it could be streamlined/smoothed out at all? For instance, the tip of the ring finger is quite pointy. So I was just asking if it could all be smoothed into a slightly less "jagged" look if that makes sense?
