#31 - Wow - not what I asked for, but I like it. The two wings and the body seem like they are three different styles maybe? I like the body style stroke best I think - I don't think we have to show every feather, maybe just be more subtle with broad strokes versus all the detail?
#30 - I really like this interpretation of the hawk's face - maybe pull in the yellow from the eyes in the "dot" before the com? Too much?
Idea - How would it look if you stacked Brand on top of Hawks - bigger bird in circle - then stack two words to the right of it? What else could you do to make it quirky?
Color-wise - just yellow / black / white ---- anything else hit you for the demographic (women 20+ - shoppers)
when I saw your photo - this is the image that came to me due to the distinctive feather pattern in the hawk's face. I tried various layouts and fonts and in some I tilted his head a bit more. There is one more feminine font that might attract that part of your market - but I feel that it is simple and generic enough - you could soften the color by switching the black to a brown. Your feedback is terrific!
I'm not loving your font selection yet? Is there something more modern that might blend well with your graphic? Maybe bold "hawks" but leave "brand" unbold? Since this is going to live on web, it's important to keep the font(s) modern / light ?
Also, one other thought about the thin lines in the face - although I love them:) - I'm concerned they will fill in when we print it on paper? Can you try it with some of the lines simplified or just a few lines perhaps? I don't want to lose the look, but definitely need to be able to reproduce it.
appreciate feedback to adjust this as you want to see it. I can also request information on embroidery suggestions using the direction of the thread to emphasize the feather pattern.
On #118 - it looks like the kerning (or is it the leading? I always get the two terms confused) is off on the word "Hawks" - I'm thinking "Brand" and "Hawks" should line up to the same exact width (force justify if necessary). Also, the period in ".com" seems to be off too? Can you center it under the "c" - versus where it is now? Hoping this makes sense - thanks!
Carol - one more request (sorry to be so needy!) - wondering if you can show one example of the logo with fewer lines all together? Maybe 5 on the top half of the circle and 5 on the bottom half of the circle?
I understand that you want your logo to be the best it can be... Happy to work to make it right. AND you were correct about the kerning - in my rush to get them done I just missed it. Hope you like this one better. As noted before there could be multiple versions - one for large format and one for small - many logos are set up like that!
