Good 3rd place option.

Good concept, but not as good as the other options.

This logo, as in the first one, is simplistic in nature--all important for a logo. I also like the simple coloration with silver/gold/black. This logo definitely works for letterhead/t-shirts/hats without the worry of a symbol (compass) separate from the lettering.

I like this simplicity of this logo. Coloration - black/gold with highlights of silver are classic and convey $$.
