It will be today for sure, they couldn't guarantee by lunch. 5 years ago derepentigny commented on #89 Roger mate, thanks 5 years ago charcoal commented on #89 Not really, if you're happy with this one. I do like the balance look of the hook and line. I will need a bit of time to prepare the final artwork files once selected. 5 years ago derepentigny commented on #89 Do we need to go over anything before I select it as winner? 5 years ago derepentigny commented on #89 Looks great 5 years ago charcoal commented on #89 Bolder text and rod. 5 years ago derepentigny commented on #85 Withdrawn Ok, great. Thanks 5 years ago charcoal commented on #85 Withdrawn I can't confirm what the exact size will be on the boat itself. The printing place will be able to do a mockup to show you, I'm sure. The size will be defined by the maximum height the logo can be in that area on the boat. I can make things a little bolder. I'll upload another version shortly. Also, when the final file is created I go over the whole design to fine tune everything. 5 years ago derepentigny commented on #85 Withdrawn This will work. Can you make everything bold? I want letters about a foot, do you do that or can they do it at printing place? 5 years ago charcoal commented on #88 Withdrawn Less is more approach – using the C as the hook. Thoughts? 5 years ago charcoal commented on #87 Withdrawn This one ( #87 ) has grown on me. I'm liking it. Since doing this I've had one other idea which I'll upload in a minute – just to make sure no idea is left unturned! See what you think and get back to me. 5 years ago derepentigny commented on #87 Withdrawn Which one do you like best? 5 years ago charcoal commented on #87 Withdrawn In this one I enlarged the B just a fraction so the point of hook is clearer. It does tell a story that something is on the end of the line 5 years ago charcoal commented on #85 Withdrawn I do like how the hook balances with the hoop on the other side of the fishing line, but I'll take a look at that 5 years ago derepentigny commented on #85 Withdrawn What do you think about putting tip of hook through B in numb, from outside to inside a little near the bottom circle of B 5 years ago derepentigny commented on #84 Withdrawn Can you do it in print & all caps. 5 years ago charcoal commented on #84 Withdrawn This font is called Stingray – thought it had quite a suitable style about it. See what you think 5 years ago charcoal commented on #82 Withdrawn Black text 5 years ago charcoal commented on #83 Withdrawn All black 5 years ago charcoal commented on #80 Withdrawn Sure, will do. Yes, fonts can be very personal for projects like this. I've searched a lot of scripts but not sure, so would be great if you can give some types to try 5 years ago derepentigny commented on #80 Withdrawn We are happy with this except the font & color. We are looking some fonts up. Can you show in black & we will find a font & send it to u 5 years ago charcoal commented on #81 Withdrawn I found this font which feels like it's been scrawled by an old fisherman! It's called Good Vibes. See what you think. I've done 3 variations on the fishing line above and below to compare. Color-wise lighter colours work better. Dark color for the rod and line does not stand out enough. Look forward to your thoughts. 5 years ago charcoal commented on #9 Withdrawn Thanks, I'll take a look and see if that works 5 years ago derepentigny commented on #9 Withdrawn Maybe 5he fishing line from pole goes from pole in front on top of font to back & at the end of the font it has a hook on it? Just ideal I thought of. Thanks 5 years ago derepentigny commented on #9 Withdrawn Just a thin line instead of banner, maybe a slight curve in the line on top of the font. 5 years ago derepentigny commented on #9 Withdrawn That's cool 5 years ago charcoal commented on #9 Withdrawn It really is quite a dark background color, so I'd suggest that either a very dark or very light color is going to give us the contrast needed to stand out. If you could give me some time to work out a font that has the right look and configure color that works well, that would be great. Perhaps white/light text with a dark shadow to lift it so it's just floating over the gulfstream blue. I'll keep the banner there as that's holding the feet (representing the edge of the boat). 5 years ago derepentigny commented on #9 Withdrawn Not sure of font but, how an old fisherman would write it. 5 years ago derepentigny commented on #9 Withdrawn We like it but, no sun & words in just script. Not sure of letter colors. If you scroll to bottom of link, our hull is gulfstream blue. http://www.pursuitboats.com/DC266.php What letter color would you recommend? Also, a font with letters that's not block. 5 years ago charcoal commented on #9 Withdrawn Hello. This was my take on ‘comfortably numb’ - the blissful feeling of being out on the water. I’m happy to rework this design, if you have any requirements. I feel the horizontal layout will fit the boat well. I look forward to your thoughts. 5 years ago Ivan F commented on #9 Withdrawn Reinstated at client request. Please advise if there are any issues with this design. 5 years ago charcoal commented on #7 Withdrawn Sure, I’ll get that done, thanks. 5 years ago derepentigny commented on #8 Withdrawn Can you put this on a Gulf Stream blue background. That's the color of boat. http://www.pursuitboats.com/DC266.php 5 years ago derepentigny commented on #7 Withdrawn Can you put this on a Gulf Stream blue background.
