Not really, if you're happy with this one. I do like the balance look of the hook and line. I will need a bit of time to prepare the final artwork files once selected.
I can't confirm what the exact size will be on the boat itself. The printing place will be able to do a mockup to show you, I'm sure. The size will be defined by the maximum height the logo can be in that area on the boat.
I can make things a little bolder. I'll upload another version shortly. Also, when the final file is created I go over the whole design to fine tune everything.
This one ( #87 ) has grown on me. I'm liking it.
Since doing this I've had one other idea which I'll upload in a minute – just to make sure no idea is left unturned! See what you think and get back to me.
Sure, will do. Yes, fonts can be very personal for projects like this. I've searched a lot of scripts but not sure, so would be great if you can give some types to try
I found this font which feels like it's been scrawled by an old fisherman! It's called Good Vibes. See what you think. I've done 3 variations on the fishing line above and below to compare.
Color-wise lighter colours work better. Dark color for the rod and line does not stand out enough. Look forward to your thoughts.
Maybe 5he fishing line from pole goes from pole in front on top of font to back & at the end of the font it has a hook on it? Just ideal I thought of. Thanks
It really is quite a dark background color, so I'd suggest that either a very dark or very light color is going to give us the contrast needed to stand out. If you could give me some time to work out a font that has the right look and configure color that works well, that would be great. Perhaps white/light text with a dark shadow to lift it so it's just floating over the gulfstream blue.
I'll keep the banner there as that's holding the feet (representing the edge of the boat).
We like it but, no sun & words in just script. Not sure of letter colors. If you scroll to bottom of link, our hull is gulfstream blue. http://www.pursuitboats.com/DC266.php
What letter color would you recommend? Also, a font with letters that's not block.
Hello. This was my take on ‘comfortably numb’ - the blissful feeling of being out on the water. I’m happy to rework this design, if you have any requirements. I feel the horizontal layout will fit the boat well. I look forward to your thoughts.

It does tell a story that something is on the end of the line
