The logo will be small on the packaging in the store and people will walk by, and not necessarily stop and take time to read. So while walking in the fresh vegetable ally they need to be able to read what it says.

The retro concept I think you are capturing good. the lettuce might be too bulky, the font a bit too difficult to read.
