Wookasheen, I like the simplicity of the animal. It seems grounded and slightly leaning forward gives a sense of pushing forward. I prefer facing to the right like the direction of reading, suggesting traveling forward But I'm also feeling that I want to see the face of the zebra to feel more connected to it. I want it closer and perhaps a more simplified image of it, like the WWF Panda or the Linux penguin. I want to see eyes and be able to connect with what it's thinking. Color Accounting is about learning and the mind and getting mental breakthroughs, so I want to see the lights go on in the zebra's eyes.
We don't need text yet. We can work on the words later. It's more the mascot image that we want now. We have a couple of nicknames for the zebra already, like Zebu or Ziggy. We want the image to be personal and feel like we can connect with it so that the nickname fits.
Hi Wookasheen, #31 is your best. Works well on black too per #32. The turned head makes me feel a connection and the feeling is stronger and more certain than the cocked head of #24. Is there a way to enlarge the head in an abstract way without losing the whole body in the background. That way we'd get even more connection and personality from the zebra's expression. We really want to feel a personality come through from the mascot. Learning/education is personal, so we want that personal connection with the mascot! Oh, and the strong lines are better than the shaded look of #33 and #34
Hello dear Ch I tried this like zebra in savanna on the top of letterers...But first I would ask you what is required on this contest:, more realistic or free and playful zebra stylization?
Wookasheen, this is good. My wife is saying that width of the lines on the head, versus those on the rear make the head look small and busy. And the focus ends up being on the wrong end of the zebra!!! But otherwise it's very good. I wasn't thinking that the words were important yet, but this entry uses the combination of words and image very effectively. Many thanks!
