Here my design alternative. I used simple and abstract shapes to create an isotype with a stylish and modern, in the form of zebra. If you have comments, please let me know. Greetings.
Hi Dapc, your 'whispy/ lines create a very nice clean look. I like the head outline and srong eye. The expression and mood of the face is however rather severe, serious. Is there a way you could make the expression of the zebra more warm and friendly... welcoming. More fun/cartooney?
Hi DAPC, #43 is a definite improvement. The nose reaching out further is a better message than the 'glaring forehead' of #40. Would it be possible to have a full frontal with both eyes visible? So that the zebra is looking at us? Peter.
Dapc, #49 gives a strong sense of the turning of the zebra's head, more so than #46. Nice. Something that I don't think is working is the mane. It's looking a bit like a third ear in the middle. An idea: any way to introduce a smile somehow in the expression of the zebra?
Dapc, your #80 - #91 series are very strong. Thank you. I'm definitely going to put these up to my final selection committe. I really appreciate how you've taken the early idea and worked it into something strong and bold. Much appreciated. Peter.
Dapc, can you show us #91 without any wording. It's emerging as a strong favorite. But we'll use our preexisting lettering fonts (see www.comesalive.com) for the wording if we go for this.
We like it as it is, though we are wondering how it would be without the gray?
Oh, and one other thing, it looks like the bottom of the lip is getting slightly cropped. Many thanks, Peter
