thanks for the invitation - you didn't give much detail or direction so I hope you like my concept!

Thanks so much for your entry. I like it, however, on Entry no 1 can you please only use these instruments, violin, viola, cello and bass please? We don't have any other type instruments in the youth orchestra. Also the faces, maybe happier or not bald or more abstract.
I'm kind of looking for something that uses the shape of violin or string instrument family incorporated into the wording of CCYO or Collin County Youth Orchestra. I'd like it to say both CCYO and Collin County Youth Orchestra on the logo.
I've never done this before and I'm not an artist so I'm just thinking out loud. Thank you so much for your entries.

Thanks for the new one!
I think I would like to see something like: CCYO with some of the letters incorporated into violin shapes, and spelled out Collin County Youth Orchestra under or over the logo. I think I would like to omit the faces and triangles on the design. We want to use this logo for many things but it has to work well for back windshield decals.

Thanks again, can you use the sides of the instrument as one or both of the C's in CCYO? Is that possible and use a more elegant font type, but one that is still easy to read? Thank you!

#5 I like how you use a bow for the line - could you move the violin up a little or tilt it so it doesn't cover the "Collin". I'm afraid on a back windshield sticker you wouldn't be able to read the "Collin" word. Thanks, I appreciate your time.

#2 could the left side of the square show the shape of a violin instead of being square and maybe a little darker font for the collin county youth orchestra? Thanks

here is another concept using the Britto inspired graphic technique and leaning toward the string instruments a bit more. thanks for the feedback

#14 the large letters, can they be un - italizied? and #13 maybe use the whole shape of a violin with it instead of just the left side, or maybe the left side of the whole violin including the next and then the art filler fades out as it goes toward the right where the letters are. I can't really tell its a violin because it it too big from left to right
thanks!

on $13 I think I said it backwards...use the right side of a violin to indent inward and be the left side of the colorful music square logo...thanks

sorry I am not sure which you mean I don't have an entry #13 Are you referring to entry #2? and the violin from entry #23? sorry I am confused as to what you want.

hope this is what you wanted to see. These designs are influenced by a terrific artist Romero Britto....
Thanks

Yes! now can you use the right side of it and somehow put the two C's of collin county inside the c curves of the violin - they are close to there now. and then the other two words, youth orchestra belowIt all. Just an idea. Like to see what that looks like. Thanks

#39, I guess that was a goofy idea I had! Thanks for trying....to do what I asked! It is not quite right looking! That's why I'm not a designer!!!

Can you use the violin from entry #22 in the #40 logo, instead of the shape I have given you to do. The reason is that the shape I thought would work is not looking quite right! Thanks

not exactly sure what you wanted but I did a different layout and made the 'puzzle' a bit different.

I like #54 a lot, can you do it with the font you used on #2. Thanks!

And on #22, try the font from #2 as well. on #54 can you slightly tilt the violin to the right and make the bow a little less thick. Because the CCYO is over the long wording, it looks a little too spread out. Maybe it won't in the new font? Thanks for all your work!

Yea! I like it, now can you put the violin that is in #22 into #54. I like the way the graphics look in the violin of #22? with the keyboard - it just seems more colorful and playful than the violin in #54. Thank you!

oh gosh I meant 56, I like the tilt of 56 and the violin that is in 57...sorry about that...I'm going to take out the straight up violin ones, so there it will be easier for me....

I have a partner in this business and he is worried that the pop art would be too expensive to print up because it has so many colors in it. We will be making the decision together so I can only let you know what he is saying and what his rankings to me are. I think the teens would like it a lot, now just worried about the cost of colors in the printing of shirts and other items. (you can tell I'm new at this, can't you!)
Thanks

even more simplified to a single color - you can have different versions based on what you are using it for...

Thank you. If your colorful design wins, don't we get it with a black background, white black background and in black and white. I think I read that somewhere on the site, and obviously I'm new to this! Is that what happens?

You can request multiple options / layouts and formats of your logo. You will only get the one from LogoTournament - but most designers will also send you other formats / layouts / color options after the files are accepted. I know I will and I happen to know the #2 ranked designer will also (I bought a logo from her in the past myself).
