We like the idea of a flame type character, but would prefer something friendlier, and maybe some different concepts (i.e. not just this same flame with a smiley face). Thank you so much for your submission!
Hi musicalryo. We had a look through some of your other designs and we really think that you can be the guy to get this job done! To give you a better idea, we liked the 'style' of Saving Rock logo (with the shark), and the iMunchie logo (the egg with the chef outfit). We feel that both of these examples are very 'web 2.0' looking. Thanks again and looking forward to seeing what you can come up with!

Sorry just seeing your comment now. We really really want something that looks very web 2.0. An example of a character that we love from the web is the cloud from http://tripl.com. Friendly, cute, and the accompanying text compliments the logo perfectly. Do you think you could create some type of flame or fireball character that is similar in style to the cloud on that logo? We definitely don't want a house or real estate type guy. Thanks so much let us know what you think!
Hi Ryo,,, You came up with a concept that did match what I described, however my business partner didn't really like my vision and has gotten more involved now. I apologize because I thought that was going to hit the mark. After more consideration and reviewing the entries so far, We decided to go the route of a phoenix instead. It doesn't have to be a cartoon character. just a cool looking phoenix in the logo design. It makes sense considering the color scheme and the fact that the company will be tech savvy, and focused on aggressive results for the agents that purchase our websites. Sorry for the mis-guidance and I hope to see some more ideas form you because you are very talented.
no problem. But if I'm not mistaken, it seems the phoenix concept was came from ponetzgraphics, correct? If that so, unfortunately that concept is belong to him.. but I will figure out another concept that I can come up with. Thanks for clarifying
Hi Ryo, Actually, that is not really the case. My business partner discussed a phoenix with me last night as an idea, and it just so happened we got one this morning. the concept of fire and a phoenix are not really that unique. I don't want to get any artists wars going, but the honest truth is we did discuss that concept before the logo had come in .... I did update the brief this morning. Its up to you if you don't feel comfortable with that situation. We are open to other ideas as well
well... unfortunately this site has a rule that says the designer who first submitted the idea which is never mentioned at the brief, the idea belongs to him. Maybe this happened coincidentally but the time stamp shows that Ponetz was the first who submitted the phoenix before your direction has been posted. I'm so sorry with this.
