Thanks for your feedback. In fact, Y is a wine glass cup with a sort of "smile" as cup basis.
The font is a resemblance of wine bottles as weel.
I'll upload a cursive variant as requested.

We think your design is among the best. We would like to see it with cursive letters as well! Also you could try new styles on the "y". You could try to resemble a wine glass.
