Discussion

Overall, the design is nice, however I think we'd like to see how a couple different typefaces look inside the circle, as well as incorporating some more color. It's very one dimensional at this point.

Thanks for the feedback. Glad you like my logo concept. Here is a revised version and a couple new ones. Please let me know if you'd like to see any changes.

Thanks,
Vicki

I like #128 a lot, could we see that on a white background with some subtle color?

I have #128 in various colors with a white background. However, your contest has moved into the "Top Five" phase. So, I would need to be ranked as one of the top 5 designers in order to upload the logos.

OK, our apologies for the extremely delayed response... We had a sickness over here and then had to reconvene to do some serious deliberation. We have decided that we want you to be the winner and are the biggest fans of your designs for #128 and #11, however the colors, especially on #128 will not work for our project. The logo will need to be on a white/transparent background and will need to have some color (not black/white). Also important is we would like to see more detail inside the circle, much like the Lovelyfest logo is looks like you built upon (seen here: http://lovelyfestevents.com/ or in the attachments) does. Finally, I don't think we're completely sold on the font, however you clearly have the right eye for what we are looking for. Any other ideas for fonts would be greatly appreciated.

As long as we can see a few more designs along the lines of what we just described, we will authorize you for the full amount!

The colors we want to see are mint green and grey (probably mint for the circle area and grey for the event design piece).

Super! These files are on my home computer. My mother is in the hospital. So I will be there for a while this evening. After that I should be able to work on the changes. If I am there longer than expected, I will do my best to get changes for you as soon as possible.

Thanks so much,
Vic

Oh dear, terribly sorry to hear that. Whenever you're able to get around to it is fine, I know you had been waiting on us for some time.

Just want to give you an update. I was able to work on the revisions tonight. But, not as much as I would like to. So, I should have some uploads for you tomorrow night.

Sounds great!

Here are the new ones. Some with different fonts on the "cm" and some with different fonts and sizes on the "event design". I have used various shades of mint-ish colors. Please look them over, and let me know what you like or don't like. And if we are headed in the right direction.

#175 is my favorite and I think it has the same feel of the lovelyfest logo.

#175 is definitely our favorite. Great work! Here's a couple comments from our client:
- She would like to see the "C" toned down a little. Looking to get clarification on that but if that makes sense to you, great. If not, no sweat.
- She would like to see some different shades of mint/green to get a feel for her options. I'm not going to string you along here - we want to put an end to this contest. We can play with colors on our end once it is closed out but if you have some more contributions, that'd be great. We're shooting to end this tomorrow and crown you the winner

Thanks. I think I toned down the "C". #176 and #177 are the same design as #175 with different pantone colors. #178 - #183 are with various versions of the "C" and various colors. I made all of them pantone colors since we are only working with the mint and grey.

I will be traveling this weekend. I will do what I can if changes are needed. If you'd like to close out the contest that will be fine. And I can still work with you after that in order to get the logo finished to your liking.

Please let me know if I went the right direction with toning down the "C" or if you want to see any changes.

So sorry for the ridiculous delay... I have approved the final files and it looks like we'll be going with the one we had originally chosen for 1st place. If you would be open to providing us with the other iterations you did (#178-183) that would be great, as our client is still somewhat undecided and would like to keep her options open. If you're open to it, you can send them to logos@stirltech.com and we will approve the winning design once the files get uploaded. Thanks! :)

No problem. I have uploaded the winning files. I will email the other files (.eps & .pdf) to you. If you need any other format of any of the files just let me know.

Thanks so much!

Were doing another contest that we could really use your creativity in:https://logotournament.com/contests/stirling_technologies

So far on one has submitted anything creative and I was really impressed with your work and specifically your use of typography. Would you consider entering?
