#15- Not sure if you just read my comments on the other logos but regardless, this is a strong first effort. I like the emblem. Abstract but athletic and the star says "winning".
Not crazy about the red and blue that make up the circle. Any other suggestions for color? Maybe silver somewhere?
Final comment is the text font isn't resonating with me. Also, like may of the others, I'd like to co-emphasize the first two words and less (not equal) on the last word: Group.
Flatworld- I'm still very interested in your concepts. Some added requests-
Can I see #19 with a dark background please with the name all in one color, Gold or Silver? I'm thinking on a dark background, the text and the star should be the same color. on a white background, the star and word "Group" with the lines would be the same color, but the words CLutch and PErformance would be black still. Can I also see a version of #19 without the circle and the character slightly enlarged? THen the text would be the same color as the star for that one. Can you please bold up the bottom lines and word GROUP without enlarging the font?
I had one more thought- Using #21 / #22, can you creatively make the gold ring a bit more obvious as the letter "C" perhaps?. I don't know if I prefer just the ring being open on the right side, or maybe if the star was lowered a bit to "interrupt" the ring at the 3' o'clock position (opposed to the current 2 o'clock position) which would naturally form a "C" (as in Clutch, obviously).
There is a black outline around the star, but maybe that isn't what you're talking about. I see quite a few designers are starting to use my concept of a figure reaching for a star and a C shape. That stinks when that starts to happen in a contest and it turns into a giant copyfest. Let me see what I can do to make the C show more, thanks!
#94 is pretty strong. I'm overwhelmed with all the last few hours' submissions. You've been consistently strong and by your overall ranking, successful on this site. My first time. Thanks for all the work thus far
OK, Can we please open up the "c" a little bit more? Can we also make the text in gold or a gold/green combination? If you choose the two color route, I'd ask that Clutch and Group be gold and Performance be green.
After the changes, can I see two versions- one on black and one on white?
Argh! The silver gets washed out on a white background! Can you do anything about that? :) (#121) I prefer #119 to #120, realizing that #119 is the same as #121 on black.
Would look good on black though? Problem is that it would look good on billboard and hats and polo shirts (dark color background), but washed on letter head and envelopes (white), don't you agree?
For polo shirts and hats it will all have to be solid color (no highlights) and it will depend on the background color of the garment. But I will show you what I mean.
When you print something on a shirt it will look more like #122. If you embroider, they can't add special effect things. It can be kind of hard on screen print as well.
I wanted to personally thank you for your participation in this process, my first time on the website. I have narrowed my final choice to the top 2 entries (as currently ranked).
I may be starting another contest soon for an LLC called Clarity Activation, If so, I hope you'll consider submitting for it. I think you do very good work.
