here are my proposals. I made the goats with their own personality :
math #22 : a math goat teacher with an abacus in his hand. The reason why I'm using abacus because I think abacus will works well to represent math for kids because its fun
art #19 : a french goat artist, with his cool looks.
science #20 : a bald goat scientist with his goat beard. I made him looks like an expert professor.
reading / spelling #21 : a student goat who loves reading books. With happy face and relaxed standing pose leaning on books.
Please let me know what you think. I hope I'm on the right direction. Any feedback would greatly appreciated.
Hi timothy, here's another version #28 added grass and sky in order to make it looks more appeal to the kids. If you would like to see any changes please feel free to ask.
I've modified one of the goat (science goat) with more lighter colors to make it more kid-friendly #48. If you like this modification, I can continue to work on the other characters. As you might know, designing character illustration (especially 4 characters) extremely time intensive. So I just wanted to make sure that I'm on the right direction before I go any further. However, if you need totally different character with more cute and simple goats, I'll leave these characters and try to create another one with different style.
Love the direction but the goat age-wise still feels too old. Want the kids to appeal to it like a peer rather than a teacher. Maybe his snout/nose length?
Ah.. I see... since appeal like a peer rather than a teacher, so I suppose the goat should be younger and more cute just like kids? Okay, I will change that. what about the body? Is it looks to old as well? Or it's fine as is? Maybe if you have some reference what type / style of cartoon character you like, you can send it to me. That would be very helpful!
Btw, thank you so much for willing to discuss and brainstorm with me. I really need this in order to get me on the right track. To be honest, few days ago (before the contest has been extended) I was not sure whether I'm on the right direction or not since you didn't leave any feedback at all. So I hope you can keep actively giving feedback then hopefully the final logo will be exactly just like what you want.
