CL Advice LLCLogo Design Contest

I like this as a light but nicely stated design and I like 351 as a darker design on the same these. These two are the best of the new ones. Thank you for all your work, i really appreciate you responding to my comments along the way.

For the emphasis in the font used for the name "CL Advice LLC", I like what you did in #229 the best, with CL and LLC bold and Advice not bold. That works really well for some reason. It also seems to work better with everything in the name the same size including LLC. You had some interesting color variations but nothing that I absolutely love just yet. Right now with the strong purple and blue a neutral color for the name seems to be best.

On the circle around the initials, no circle or one circle seems to look best. I went back to #146 and there is something interesting there about putting the logo at an angle. Not sure how this would work with the two colors in the "CL"?

Something like #307 is a bit too busy and I do not like that design as much.

Some thing I liked in #229 is that the CL and the name were in the same scale -- the CL not so much bigger. In other designs I have liked a big CL but for the thought bubble concept that you have I think everything in a much more similar scale seems to work better.

thanks this is on point in following my suggestion to separate the C and the L and have the thought bubble. I will leave more detailed comments and a ranking tomorrow morning my time (roughly 8 hours from now).

how abouth this?

# 146 had the though bubble, which I really liked, and it also had clear "C" and "L" separated, it was easy to see the CL. in #229, I really liked the colors, the clean design, and the bold CL bold LLC and not-bold "advice". This tries to combine the two but is not as clean and it is difficult to see the "CL" it looks more like a circle with a line through it. This is a general comment on the new designs.

for this particular one, and it's not the same for all your designs, I prefer it straight up and down rather than tilted on the side. I see the thought bubble but the thought bubble makes more sense to me when it's outside of the circles, this one is inside of the outer circle. Also consider having the "CL" a different thickness or color from "Advice" (you have that one another one of your designs and that works better).

The variation is interesting but at this point I prefer the "flatter" design and nicer font of the prior design. I like the colors.

I chose your design because you showed a lot of creativity and adaptability. On this design, I like the font a lot, and I like that you bolded "CL" which echoes "LLC". Nice touch. The blue and purple are very good together as well. You have worked various designs with the "CL" as a central piece and I think that one is quite attractive. I also like when you have the CL on its side with a thought bubble - it has the image of the consultant thinking and conversing with the clients.

I see in the new designs entered in this final phase that you are trying some 3-D elements but I am not sure this is totally working.

i do not like the wave thing and I do not see the "CL" in there.

for sure. however i think this is just confusing right now is it's hard to see "CL" and it's hard to see something else that is recognizable. it would help to have more contrasting blue/purple so we can see the lines differently in the design up top and see the CL better. basically either you need to see the CL clearly or it needs to be CL and some other recognizable thing. Don't get me wrong, I like it but I think it would be confusing to someone who did not know what the logo was supposed to be.

I am not connecting with this logo. too far from "CL" and abstract is to soft/waves in the sea

I am intrigued by this. Very tall logo with sophistication and color. It is worth seeing whether you can develop something more abstract and sophisticated in this direction. I like the color choice and the stylized "CL" in the logo.

This is my favorite of yours. I like the way this suggests a conversation and has the "CL" prominently in the logo. The use of color is good although I would encourage you to make it pop more and think of a 3-color design. Also I would encourage you to see whether the logo can be more abstract and/or look like something else people would relate to. This basic structure of an image/logo on top of the name is what I am envisaging. I would prefer the name of the company in all caps but I like that you emphasize the CL and link it with LLC.

I appreciate the outlining of "CL" and the work of colors here. Somehow this does not work for me - not sure but the fonts not being the same on CL and the rest of the logo is not a positive thing

It seems you are trying to work the CL in some type of abstract logo and I like that. Not sure it completely works here as the CL is hard to see and the logo itself does not call up another image or concept. The colors are good although it would be nice to add purple.

i like the checkmark type "v" but I do not understand the dot. Overall this is simple and clean. I am not a particular fan of the font. This could be more complex and sophisticated.
