CL Advice LLCLogo Design Contest

I would encourage you to continue simplifying the logo so that you can still see the basic key shape and the other ideas (globe, abacus) but making it less busy (fewer lines, fewer colors). I still really like this idea.

This has nice colors but does not work because people will read "clad" "vice" so it will be confusing.

for this design I like better the globe/logo on top of the CL Advice on a separate line.

i like this globe better and the blue/purple is good. That said it is becoming a little too busy with all the colors and elements. A bit gimmicky, a bit too masculine also. I am wondering whether you can streamline, edit and simplify. I am commenting on this one because the colors are on and the logo on the left is good so this seems like the right starting point.

The blue is good here. I don't like dark backgrounds generally but I can see some promise in a grey background. on this one the "CL Advice" does not pop enough, a bit too much dark on dark.

This looks a bit too much like the Obama campaign logo. However, I like the proportions - the circle on the left is bigger and that makes it look more like a key. The blue is good. I'm don't like the checkmark above the "i" so much.

i do not like the bright blue in this one as much.

Hi, congratulations on making it to the final!

You are working out two designs, this one that looks like a key, and another one where there logo is above the CL advice name. I like both of these and I will make a number of comments on these here. So these comments relate to many of your designs.

Colors. Going back to a prior design of yours, design #212, ranked 44th (this might change as I rank more designs - do you see the #212 number at your end?), has some great blue/purple as background for the abacus. I like this blue, or darker blues generally. I like purples that have more blue, less red purples (e.g., red 100 green 50 blue 200). You have tried a couple of darker backgrounds. I don't generally like that but I think the blue/white letters on grey is promising as a direction. Generally like the "CL" to be in a different color from the "Advice".

Logo/globe. The Logo you have on the designs where the logo is on top (rather than on the left) of the name has a simple globe on the bottom and a slightly different abacus. It would be interesting to see the simpler globe on the key motif.

Key. I really like the key motif. It seems to pop more on design where the circle of the key is a bit larger.

"Consulting". For the designs with logo on top and the name on the bottom, you have added "consulting". I think overall this is not a helpful addition because I use "advice" to mean that already.

Font. your fonts are all modern and look good. It might be interesting to see what the design would look like with all caps or with other modern fonts and color combinations.

this is the other one that looks like a key to me. I like that. The "CL" is good, not great, this is a little simple but it holds a lot of promise.

ok so don't get me wrong I do not generally like black/dark backgrounds. But what I like about this is the entire thing looks like a key. You have another with a white background that looks like a key, I think that is cool -- like I am the key to solving your problems as a consultant. I am not entirely sold on the logo but I appreciate the combination of the globe and the abacus - the combination of calculating and connecting is a good one. on the colors this looks more like pink than purple and I would prefer greys and blues..

hi, I have two favorite of yours, this one, and the one with the black background. What I like out of this one is the logo on top of the name, i like that you added consulting, and i like the general integrated look. The LLC as a cute superscript is a nice touch. I don't totally connect with the globe/abacus but this is a look that i have not seen and that I appreciate. I would encourage you toward a more blue-ish purple and grey tones, and play around with the logo but I like the overall look.
