I like the texture idea! Please try using brighter colors. Try to make the “CKC” in transition colors (Royal Blue/Orange/Yellow).

I’m really liking where this is going. Please add dark yellow and/or orange to the letters. I’d also like to see the hammer and nails inverted and incorporated into the diagonals of the “k”. Also, try making it look more dimensional in the shape of a sphere or elliptical.
