Steve -- I so appreciate your creativity! I like the idea of the circular arrow, but my first gut reax is that it looks like a ring, implying some kind of spiritual or marital counseling service. Hmmm... Also, the circle implies (to me) a continual process, rather than final relief. So maybe try another direction or shape for the arrow? Sorry, I'm not being very specific; just don't know what to suggest as I'm not very graphically minded.
The element making your design unique and particularly appealing is its warm, feminine flair. So whatever you do, please keep that :)
Other thoughts:
- Slogan needs to be larger, easy to read.
-I'd love to see you incorporate an image/illustration
- I'm partial to a round or square logo, rather than solidly rectangular
- Curious how a combo of blue & green would look, but I really love the blue & yellow/gold and all the things I could do with that for promotional purposes.
- Would like to see a version w/the slogan in color and larger.
You mentioned the idea of a large roofline segueing into a smaller one - this is along those lines but, hopefully offering something very different in terms of treatment.
The idea is to convey movement from the larger blue property into the smaller yellow/orange one; but to have this movement occur along a single, looped path.
Does it work for you at all?
I've also moved the 'C' further left from the 'K' and increased the top serif to distinguish it from an 'O'.
I also had a little fun with the word 'Downsize'. :)
Apologies, Steve. I meant to simply drag that entry (#30) lower down the rankings, not into "Not Interested." Will amend now. I do like the font, and would indeed like to see a graphic element based on it. Many thanks in advance!
All best, Carla
I can see that you have marked my entry 'Not Interested'. Does this mean that any graphic element I develop should NOT be paired with the fonts in entry #30?
I understand... I'll work on this too. Perhaps take the terminal slightly further from the 'K', or else make the serif more pronounced... or both! :)
I chose to work with a rounded 'C' because it helped with the 'transition' to the 'K'. Also, the 'CK' ligature is a customisation of a font that is compatible with the unicase font used for the word 'transitions', which was chosen because it 'transitions between upper and lower case letter forms.
I'm sketching imagery and, as expected, won't be in a position to upload this evening (it's after 1am and I'm about to log off), but I will develop this further tomorrow.

At this stage of your contest, only your top-ranked designer can submit revisions.
If you are willing to promote me to first place, I can upload the changes you have requested.
This won't commit you to selecting me; you can re-rank after you receive the revisions you require.
All the best,
Steve

- Wondering if you couple please make the "C" look less like an "O"?
- And could you please add either bullets or periods between the 3 words in the slogan?
Thank you so much in advance...

Apologies again for the delay, but it was unavoidable.
Here's the first draft of a new idea I've been working on. Does this resonate and do you think this has potential for further development?
All the best,
Steve

I'm really sorry, but I have an unexpected family matter to work through, which will have me away from my desk for most of the day.
I will get back to this later this evening.
Best,
Steve

I understand what you mean about the implications of the ring. I have some ideas - I will work on this.
Again, it's quite late, so this might get to you tomorrow morning.
I've just seen your message about the slogan - I'll harmonies the point sizes with my next submission.
I'll also experiment with blue/green options as well as the blue/gold.
All the best,
Steve

(And as fun as the Downsizing of "downsize" is.... I'm thinking it'd be better to play it straight.) Also, could you separate the 3 words w/ bullets?
