Heru, thanks for the fast entry! I like how you are playing off buildings in the back ground, and I could definitely see that aspect incorporated in the final design. However, I don't particularly care for the orange color, and I would prefer the styling/font to be a little more retro instead of modern. Here is a link to a type of font that I might like (but I am certainly open to a lot of options)...
It's a style I find pretty appealing, and I would give instant first place consideration to anyone who can pull it off. Just let me know if you're interested
Awesome job! I just showed that to a few of my reps and we all love it. Lets see some variations of it too, maybe without city being so big, or the entire phrase written on one line instead of stacked? Also throw some alternate color schemes out there (bright colors... greens, yellows, blues).
Great work though, as it stands right now #34 is in instant contention for my logo.
There's a reason why you're the pro and im not, your first variation with the city and surfing stacked on top of each other is much better. I really like the graded variant on the bottom too of "surfing" on entry #34.
In all honesty I think this is the logo/style of logo I'm going to choose unless someone comes along and really blows me away. But i'd love to see some other variations of it just to see what else you can do.
I don't like how you highlighted entry #44 with green, it looks a lot better as a stand-alone in entry #34 and #45.
I like what you did with entry #46 and #47, but I don't like the green trees at the bottom, they look a little out of place. Also, I would like you to keep the white gradient that you used for "surfing" in entry #34 in future entries, it's a well designed, good look.
As you may have noticed, I've got #56 ranked #1. I'm a big fan of it, and I think the way you desinged the cityscape in the background is a really sleek look.
I've gotten a lot of feeback from my reps though the the logo is too "busy", I was wondering if you could throw a couple other variations my way that made the logo have a more simple appeal.
