Hi there! I haven't been logged in due to the Holiday so I just came across this contest. I hope that you will consider my designs for Top 5 mode so that I can continue to enter my other ideas.
you are one of the top 2 right now. Our council will vote tomorrow, but i need 2 changes before they vote. Could you change the font to look more like the second ranked logo? Also, in the box with the brown, could you please add our old logo? You can find it here http://www.buckeyeaz.gov/index.aspx?NID=390
Please just use the picture, not the words, and it can all be the same color.
Hi! The council got back with us, and they want to go in a totally new direction. They really like the logo from litchfield park, see the link here. And instead of City of Buckeye, they want a version with Buckeye, AZ. http://www.litchfield-park.org/FAQ.aspx?QID=
Hi. I've submitted some designs that encompass a more abstract look like Litchfield park's logo. Please keep in mind that colors can always be altered to what you might be looking for. Thanks!
I just want to thank you for working with us. Also, since we are a city government, this is not going to be the easiest process. The council likes your logo, but they want to look at more. I am going to award you the winner for this porject, but would like to see if we could get a couple more simple designs to present to council. I am currently creating a "scope of work" for a designer, which would be an additional monetary award, and would like to use you if you are interested.
The feedback i am getting is that they want no more than 2 colors, they want a very sharp, modern look that is incredibly simple (like the city of phoenix logo).
I might suggest a simple one line of a mountain, and the words Buckeye, AZ for one example.
if you could email me your contact info as well, that would be great. jrogers@buckeyeaz.gov
Hi! I've just added some simplified designs. I'm very pleased that you like my work. :-) I Also have a fabulous idea for an abstract date palm leaf (as I know Buckeye has date palms that line the streets of downtown) -- but I want to work on that concept in the morning when I'm fresh. :-)
They look great! With the palms, that is actually our neighboring city, Goodyear. We are known more for our open land and room to grow. We use to be cotton farmers, but don't really want to portray that now :) Thank you for the updates, i am sending to council!
Also I forgot to mention, I DO plan to email you my contact information, I just can't do that yet due to the rules of the contest. No outside contact with the contest holder until after the contest is complete :-)
Great, thank you for letting me know! The feedback I got so far is awesome! They love entry 102. One councliman asked for an example with a little more of a peak (he thought the mountains looked like birds), but everyone else was on board and liked the original!
