I really love your font choices they are very simple but interesting. They have both movement and structure which is exactly what we are looking for. I am not sold on the lyre designs. They might be a little too colorful for what we are looking for. I would love to see some revisions to this theme with changes to the lyre design but keeping the font theme for sure. I especially like #68. There is something about the blocking of the lyre and the colors used that lead me toward an education theme rather than a high end fine arts organization. I also feel the lyre needs more movement it feels a bit static. I hope this helps and am really looking forward to seeing more from you.

Thank you for your work.

This new lyre design is great. If there is time I would love to see a few more variations. I love entry #76 but now the "of" is a little to much movement with the scroll work of the lyre. It might be nice to see with a more straight forward font. I would also love to see a design like #71 with the lyre straight and no shadow, maybe in a deeper purple.

Thank you for your work, it is great!

I am retracting what I said earlier about the "of" being to much, we love what you did. Using the "of" to create movement in the font was perfect as it is not a key word and does not attract attention to itself. I feel the name a lone is beautiful and stands on its own.

I would love to see just a few adjustments made with the placement and the design of the lyre, if possible.
I love design #76 but I feel it is a little cluttered. I also love design #71 but would love to see it with the lyre even and no shadow. I also love #69 and #70 but the shapes around the lyre are throwing me off a bit. Sorry I can't be more specific. I would love to see some adjustments to your theme.

Keep in mind we are looking for a design that can be used in many ways. We need a design that works in a horizontal orientation, a vertical, image alone and name alone, one that works with a dark background and light and that could be easily legible small and large. We must keep all this in mind when choosing a winner.

Thank you again for all your work, it is wonderful

I like your new additions very much #104 is particularly interesting and really takes this whole thing in a different direction. It is great. It would be interesting to see this idea done with just our initials CAB if you can.

I like #98 as well but I do miss the original composition with the relationship between the of and the A. maybe stick with that in any other combinations you bring forward.

I love #115 and #116 you are making this decision very difficult.

Sorry #114 is a little to syfy for us, but I absolutely love your creativity, it is exactly what we were hoping for. I still really love #115 116 104 and 76. I was wondering if you might have any additional lyre ideas that might be just a little bit less intricate a bit more simple and modern, not as plain as 68 but not as intricate as 71.

I would also love to see a design that could be a matching counterpart to style 104, maybe a full lyre that could include just our initials CAB and match design 104. Just throwing out ideas.

Thank you again for your amazing work.

in that last message I meant "not as plain as 68 but not quite as intricate as 76" that is our favorite design so far. Thanks

Thank you for your new additions. This new lyre design is not my favorite. I like the lyre in #115 much better. I would still love to see a lyre design that was a little more structured maybe more masculine and just a little less feminine. I am trying to find the right words to describe what I would like to see. It is difficult to verbalize.

Thank you for your work.

Thank you for the additional designs.

I am sorry I am not in love with any of the new lyre ideas. Sorry it is so hard to put my finger on exactly what I would change.

I do like the new application in the solid purple box. I do not mind the slight gradation in color but the curved line separating the color some how does not tie in for me. I feel that dipped line doesn't fit. I also do not like any of the shadows below the images or the lens flares or the pale line through any of the images. Sorry we are just going for a more bold straight forward approach.

I would love to continue to see additional lyres if you could please. I think #145 is interesting but is almost looking a little like a vase. I also like the lines of #140 but the sketching detail feels a little haphazard. Especially with the vary straight lines in the center. It looks a little disjointed. #104 the B looks a little like a pitch fork but I do think the lines of it are interesting maybe do a lyre based off that design.

Sorry for so many revisions but I just don't feel it's there yet.

Wow goodness. First I have to say thank you again for your work. I don't take all of it for granted. Trying to get us to a place we are happy is a difficult task. Thank you for all your communication as well. Not every designer is willing to do this back and forth, which I understand it is a lot of work but I feel the back and forth gives the best results.

I am not at all a fan of the design of 140 or 152. Not sure about 150 either, I don't hate it but it doesn't catch me either.

I see something very insect like in both design in 153 and 115, they almost remind me of a tribal tattoo. Which can be a great design but the imagery is not right for our company. Again I adore what you have done with the font but the lyre just isn't there. We really need something a bit cleaner, more modern, less distinctly feminine. As a ballet company our aesthetic revolves around clean uncluttered lines within the flow and rhythm of music. A dancer must be both a high level athlete as well as a refined and delicate artist. What a concept to try and get through in a logo :)

Again thank you and we are up for seeing anything and everything you would like to bring to the table.

Also, I have put a few items in the uninterested pile. Please do not take offence. I just am cleaning up our Q so to keep our eyes focused on designs we are serious about. Yours are obviously in the front of our thoughts.

Thank you.

Yes!!
#167 168 169 are right on track.

I would like to see the font a little different. It may not work but I would love to see the design with a variation using something like the font you used in #67 as well as a variation incorporating the font or style you used in #76. Don't feel you have to use that same font on all the words, use your best judgement as to the combination. We just liked the detail of the font in #67 and the fine lines of the design of #76 and thought it might be interesting to see it with this current lyre.

Thank you again. This is great.

Sorry another request. Could you submit a version of #167 and remove the outer lines which are on the exterior and interior curves of the lyre. I that might take a little weight off the image which might be nice. If any of my suggestions you feel strongly against please don't hesitate. I do have a good sense of what I like and want to see but I also respect your professional expertise.

Having such a hard time deciding I really like them all. Thanks for making all these adjustments. Please don't take offense, I might send some to the not interested list just because we are on such a perfect track right now I want to narrow my eye right into the ones that are at the top. Is that ok? You will not get penalized if I do that will you?

I think I am leaning away from 175

I am torn between 176 and 177

Have you looked at the combination of the "ballet" font from 169 and the "city angels" font of 177. What do you think?

I also really love the balance of the name in #104 is that impossible to do with your "of" we love so much?

I also love the lyre in 174, what would it look like if the interior white border was removed? I think it might be a little busy as is, but I could be wrong. I really do like it a lot

Thank you so much again and again

OK, I really love 207

There is still something about the font that is bugging me. I feel it is a little busy in 207, but the font used in 167 and many of the others is just a bit to heavy and it also feels really basic (not special enough) I like the elegant simplicity of the font you used in 174 for ballet but it feels a little slim and not substantial enough. Maybe we can still find something that will nail it. Do you have something you haven't used yet that you think might work?

gosh i didn't realize I would be so picky with this font.

Ok so first I have to say thank you for all your work. This process has been crazy, we had no idea what we were getting into when signing up. It has been wonderful to work with such professionals and it has helped us really think long and hard about the image we are putting forward through our name.

I love all your work so far but I feel we are getting a little off track (all my responsibility) I would like to see if you have some ideas that could help. Your work has been fantastic so far. I was searching my brain last night to come up with an idea to get us where we would like to be. Originally we stated we did not want a lyre because it was the symbol of NYC Ballet for years and it is well known in our community. We starting getting some designs in and they were very beautiful so we just went with it, but now I am worried we have gone in a direction that the director may not be happy with.

I wanted to see if you have any fresh ideas to throw in the mix. Maybe scrap the lyre all together (although we will keep this current design as top in our mind) or reinterpret it in a different way if you like. I thought about maybe playing with the idea of an art deco style. LA has many art deco buildings and many of our theaters are done in that style. It might be a good style to use as inspiration from us because it is elegant, intricate but with a lot of clean lines. This is just an idea, if you don't think it works please feel free to show anything you like. Also, feel free to use an image as a center piece if you like, or you can feel free to use just our name or our initials CAB as the image. Originally that was the direction we were thinking would be best. We have loved your creativity with your fonts, I know you would have some great ideas to solve this problem.

Please feel free to be open with your thoughts on this process.

Thank you again for all your amazing work!!!!

So I am not sure if you are up for more work on this, you have done so much so far. But I think we really might like to see a design without the lyre and using our initials CAB. If you are up for more work, we would love to see what you would do. We have loved your designs and style very much.

Thank you again.

Ok so last 13 hours of the tournament. This has been a crazy experience. Just wanted to throw one more note out there to our top competitors, if they have any last design for use using our initials CAB as the image. Thank you for all your work. You all have made this process really difficult but in a great way, your work has been so great, it has been hard to make up our mind which one to go with. We will have to think very hard about the winner.

Thank you again
