I love your font choice in both 204 and 205 they are great. I think over all 203 is my favorite.
i think the image is interesting and different which I greatly appreciate as most everyone else is just giving us a variation of the lyre which we were not sure about in the beginning. While we do like many of the lyre images that are coming in some times they can start to look to much the same. It's nice to be shown something new that is why we are here. That being said I feel this image is just a bit to abstract for us and it also gives us a little bit if a religious feeling and we are not a religious organization. please feel free to submit anything else you think might work for us.
The new design is very interesting as well. I like your style very much it is unique which is great. Just as an idea what if you take your same style and use the image of a harp alone instead of the lyre and wings. We have not gotten any harp ideas yet. That might be interesting to see. Thanks
Can we clean up the center of the harp a bit so that the strings are clearer even when the image is small. I think I like the circle image better right now. But I might like to see some adjustments with the square. I like the rounded edges but the square seems like it doesn't quite relate to the shape of the harp. Maybe play with that a bit. Also if logo 213 if the words could relate a bit more to the image, right now they seem like separate pieces rather than one piece all together.
Also for the font. It might be interesting to see the same 'ballet' font just not italicized. Is that possible? It's just an idea, I could be wrong. It might not look better. The slant does sort of follow the line of the harp now. But I love your font choice. I love the city of angels font choice and I love the B.

So I am just throwing this out there to a few of the designers. What about doing the image in an art deco style, we are getting a lot of lyre's and not sure how we feel about them. I am not feeling 100% on the designs. I just thought that art deco especially in the theaters here in los angeles. It might be nice to see that style incorporated into our logo. Feel free to use what ever image you think might look best, lyre, harp or anything else you see fitting with our theme of los angeles "city of angels" and ballet.

I like 225 it reminds me of the beverly hills hotel which is good and bad, it represents LA and is expensive but I guess in a logo you don't want to be reminded of someone else logo :)
I like 226 the best.
Here is our dilemma. Originally we didn't want a lyre being used because it was the logo of NYC ballet for a long time and is very recognizable in our community. We ended up getting a bunch of lyre designs and they were really pretty so we got swept away on that route and I am not sure if it is the direction our director will want to go. I do like your harp and I think it is different but I am not sure if the connection will be made to an angel and the ballet when you first see it. The first reaction I am getting from people I show is why does the ballet have a harp as their symbol? We might like to get ourselves back on track and start to work with our top designers on designing our name as our logo. Is this a direction you have ideas for? Please feel free to submit anything new you think might work. Feel free to also use our initials CAB as well.
I also am not thrilled with the blue and gold color story. We might like to see only one or the other. Feel free to use any of these colors (but maybe not some of them together) Gold, Blue, Purple, Gray, Bronze, Black. Think simple (maybe monochromatic) not too feminine, and defiantly rich.
These new designs are better but not my favorite. I like that you used CAB in the image but it feels a little busy with the angel wings and something about the double lines reminds me of a soda logo from the 80's. Very cool and back in style now but maybe a little to retro for us. Also we would like the name and logo to more of a piece together.
