Very interesting take on the lyre. I like the concept. I feel it is little to intricate and it is a little difficult to decipher what you are looking at when it is small. But I love the interest and movement the shape brings. I would love to see any additional designs you have if there is time.
I like #192 very much but it is so similar to a design that is already being done by another artist. I do really like the lyre shape but maybe some variations and a different application would be great. We already have designs that are so similar to this. I would be nice to see something different. Our minds are not yet made up on exactly what we want, so your creativity is very much appreciated.
Thank you for this new design. I love the asymmetry of it very much. It feels a little to haphazard though. I am also not a fan of the sun in the center. Maybe work off this basic design, I would love to see something a bit more elegant looking, not to ornate simple but elegant and less childlike. Same with the font. I feel in this new design the font feels a bit childlike.
Just to keep in mind, we are a high end arts organization. We teach children but for the purpose of professional training, we are not a recreational school. We are also striving toward a top quality professional company as well. These are the ideas we would like to have in mind and hope our logo will help represent.
So I am just throwing this out there to a few of the designers. What about doing the image in an art deco style, we are getting a lot of lyre's and not sure how we feel about them. I am not feeling 100% on the designs. I just thought that art deco especially in the theaters here in los angeles. It might be nice to see that style incorporated into our logo. Feel free to use what ever image you think might look best, lyre, harp or anything else you see fitting with our theme of los angeles "city of angels" and ballet.
