I like #5 in form, I prefer not having dancers in the logo. The line image of a dancer is over used. the font looks more business or tech than arts organization.
#7 is great. I like that the font was used to create movement and design without any additional images. It is just a little to plain. I would love to see some variation on this theme, with variations in color or text designs.
We like the idea of using only the name and no image. We have gotten so many images of dancers and lyres it would be great to have a completely different perspective to look at.
Designs #5 and #8 are a bit to futuristic for our taste and the designs with the swooping B are a little feminine and not structured enough for our taste.
We would be happy to see any additional designs you would like to propose.
Thank you for your additions. I like where you are going by using just our name. It is a perspective we haven't gotten much of yet. The designs are a bit childlike. We are looking for something very professional and business. Although we do teach children it is for the purpose of professional training, think The Kirov Ballet, New York City Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet. They are not only schools but top level professional companies. That is what we are striving toward and what we would like our logo to portray.
Thank you again for you work. It is greatly appreciated.
So I am just throwing this out there to a few of the designers. What about doing the image in an art deco style, we are getting a lot of lyre's and not sure how we feel about them. I am not feeling 100% on the designs. I just thought that art deco especially in the theaters here in los angeles. It might be nice to see that style incorporated into our logo. Feel free to use what ever image you think might look best, lyre, harp or anything else you see fitting with our theme of los angeles "city of angels" and ballet.
