This is great! Very clean, very cool. I think you've really pulled the elements of the brand through. I was thinking about this last night and it occured to me that Cincinnati doesn't really identify itself with the "C" quite so much as Chicago does. I like your style, though.
Here is another design that tends to lean towards the graphic design aspect. Hope you like it! Let me know if there is anything else I can add, in the meantime I will be thinking. -drew
This is GREAT! I'm toying with the idea of incorporating an exclamation point at the end (Cincinnati Innovates!) I'd like to see your thoughts on that.
Even though the Pittsburgh logo is a little 'messy' - I think their open, approachable, creative look helps draw people in. If you have any thoughts about how to create that energy - either with a splash of paint or something like it, let me know!
Thanks for this! This one looks great! I like the Pittsburgh brand - and hey! - it worked for them! Could you add an exclamation point '!' to see how that would look? Also, any other font ideas for 'innovates'?
I really like the styles you're showing in #5, 10, and 15. Could you try something with a gear or a lightbulb incorporated into this design - something that says engineering/ innovation/ Eureka!/ creativity??? I like the orange and black colors and the font of #10!
I love #66 and 67!!! I'm a little worried that Cincinnati might be too light (I'm thinking of when printed, etc).
Also, I like the idea of putting making the "i" in innovates an exclamation point "!" to infuse some excitement into the graphic. Let me know if you think that would make it too busy.
