Just saw the contest last minute, so this is just a base idea that could be refined and added to a lot more (refinement of the baby, playing with the lettering and maybe adding some elements., if you like the general direction. I understand it may be way too loose in it's present form to even put up, but did anyway. thanks C
Thank you so much for letting me know. I loved the concept, I like that its not another sleeping baby, I LOVE that the baby's diaper is part of the U in the name. But to be honest like you mention, the baby needs some refinement, I do not like its hair or face. I also do not like the color choice for the lettering.
I know I suggested a sleeping baby but I thought designers would think up other options as well. I like that you were creative. I've looked through your profile and like a lot of other things you have submitted. It can be different my #3 spot doesn't even have a baby on the logo.
I like your concept and if you have different ideas that's great too. Just goggle search diaper creations and see other websites. Some people use bumble bees or lady bugs...anything cute that is associated with children. I like the idea of diaper creation written in a whimsical cursive and the S looping around or under with some type of dragon fly....
Thanks so much for your response and input. Yes, the WHOLE thing needs much more refinement! And i appreciate and will work both on it and some new ideas, as well. (I like your idea re: the dragonfly, too :-)
As I said, i felt a little self conscious putting it up in it's present state, it had so much that needed doing, but I only had a couple of minutes to put something together before the open phase and it looked like it could be a fun contest.
When I get something in decent shape that I think you would like to see, I will put in another comment to let you know. (At that point, to be able to enter it, I would temporarily have to be in the top 5 designers, but that can be readjusted right after entry if you want, but until I get something to that point.....
Meg, Just an fyi. Just wanted to let you know I think it's progressing nicely, but I am not going to be able to finish it up until later tonight (I have an appointment I am heading out to in a little bit.) Just wanted to let you know, so that after you were so nice to give me a chance to do something with this, that I wasn't ignoring you or your project. And, don't want to put anything up half-baked at this point. One question, do you want a soft look/tonality on the coloration or a bright look, or up for anything?
I'm up for anything. Use your judgement, sometimes things paired together can look too "loud". But sometimes the bright color is necessary. Can't wait to see what you submit!
well, don't know whether it was worth the wait :-) but at least a bit more professional looking than the original I posted. I didn't end up with as much time as i thought I was going to have, so didn't have enough time to really play with any other ideas. If these don't work out for you, I still really appreciate the opportunity. If you want to shuffle the ratings to let others enter more\, I understand. I might get a chance to play tomorrow, but if I do,and come up with anything, I can contact you then and you can decide if you want to shuffle again for an entry or not. Heading to bed now.

I like 96. If you have time just a few lil changes...I'm not too fond of the babys hair. I feel like the left side of his head is shaded kind of dark and his eyes are so black and beady. Maybe soften the look of the baby. Other than that I like the lettering and color choice. I also like the dragon fly!
Meg, had one other idea, but didn't have enough time to execute it and that would have been a bunny running away, so the butt would have been the closest part to you and the words chunky butt could sort of encircle the butt.
