The answer to your question is no: while the similarities are undeniable, if one were to search further, one will surely find other designs that use mono-weight lines and spacing. More importantly however, the two designs in question differ in several obvious ways, represent different letters, and would occupy entirely different marketspace. Therefor I see no difficulty from either a marketing or trade mark registering point of view.
OK, thanks for clearing that up. One minor change I'd like to see is to remove "Consulting" from underneath the words. Other than that, I think it looks great.
