Chicago RiotLogo Design Contest

Riot instantly evokes tough/gritty mobs in my mind, and I also wanted to try and tap into the traditional visuals of most soccer/football crests, so this is what I came up with.

I created this with the idea of it being turned into a logo on the front of jerseys, made from tackle twill, as well as a smaller crest patch on the sleeve and/or other apparel. I look forward to hear what you think, and if you would like to see any changes made, let me know. Thanks!

i like a red star on it, but six pointed to represent stars in city of chicago would be better. like the riot font, but not the ball or state outline. thanks.

Love the use of the star!!! not as crazy about the Chicago font. Like the RIOT font...worried about reproducing the background on apparel...but it's not bad by any means...good job.

So, I was trying to figure out how to get around the whole rough jagged edges being difficult to reproduce for embroidery and apparel, and so... Here is a new idea I came up with, that is a nice nod to traditional football clubs as well! I think this would be much more professional club feeling than my others. Thank again for looking.
