I really think you're on the right track with designs #74, #75, and #79. I like the balance of the design, as well as the text. I would prefer to see a graphic depicting digital video rather than film.
I like the style of #94 and #95. I would like to see some shading to give some depth. Also, some other possible color schemes. If you could communicate video more overtly, that would be good too.
My question, is a video display , table, gavels etc actually really needed the thinking is you've already named exactly what the company does in the company name any elements related to industry icons is redundant.
Scott, I totally agree that all the visual elements don't need to be a definite requirement of the logo. That being said, I'd like something that looks like it belongs in the Legal Industry, makes us look established, and has a classy feel.
I think anything subtle such as a red record light would work. I also looked at some of your past projects, and listed some designs of yours I really like below.
"Corner Office Career Coaching - I really like the balance of this logo, and how the text is arranged and shaded."
"Smokeless Image - I like the balance of the logo, how the the graphic is incorporated with the text, and definitely the shading on the text. I don't really think the font would work for us though."
"Quantitative Systems Group - Again, I like the balance with the graphic, and the shading of the overall design."
"Avid Golf Products - I really like the shading of the text, and how it looks like it shines. I don't think this font would work for us."
Scott, thank you for submissions and your time. I do like your design style for this project, and I really like #149. Would it be possible to incorporate the record light, and possibly some shading to the overall graphic to provide a more polished/shine look?
#174 #175 update you will also notice the gap between the V and S is corrected I did not move the S over in #149 after extruding the right side of the letter V so the serif is gone there is the wee bit of void space between VS. It is now corrected with these 2 updates
The new submissions with text top and bottom is the best solution. The full company name gets equal treatment and a more balanced design the other designs are top heavy and unreadable, The visual balance is hidden meaning.
I really like the balance of the updated design. Entry #215 glossy look is what I like best of the updates. Would it be possible to provide some samples in different shades of blue for the top 5?
