A rural color palette must contain, obviously some of the following colors: brown (earth), blue (sky/water), orange/yellow (sun), green (forests).

What do you think of this?

Thank you very much. Of course, your eye and the original is far superior. We're struggling with the red. Blue, Grey, Black (turquoise for pop?) feeling it's urban and we're very much rural on the water.

Also had the suggestion that a steel blue may provide a modern retro feel - coloring in the river a bit deeper blue

Is it possible to modify the grey waves into a bit more of a shoreline look? The edges on the river we are on is rustic with evergreen trees
