I looked into more and was wrong! We can totally use their official branding. You are just supposed to email them your final design to get official approval: creative@ragnarrelay.com
Here is my idea for the logo design for your Ragnar team brand! I think something very clean and bold is the way to go here—you don't want to get too cliparty or complicated with imagery. The 'main' version will look awesome on any Facebook pages, event pages, emails to friends/family, etc. and then the 'grunge' version would look really great shirts and give it a cool vintage feeling. Also, I thought that adding in #RAGNAR2019 might be a nice touch and fun way to differentiate which year any given shirt might be from moving forward :)
Take a look when you get some time, review with others, etc., and we can go from there!
