Peter,
Logo looks great, but I have a request of format. I am getting my signage updated at my office immediately and have recieved an email from the sign company. I am not versed in the design language and have no idea what he is requesting. Could you look at the email below and email the format he is requesting?
Thanks for the email contact and the opportunity to work with you on your new signage Travis….
The artwork you attached is bitmap (.jpg) picture file format….
It looks very good, but I do see some layout improvements that could be made to best suit “signage layout”….instead of the art just being a “branding logo”….
I do not know who did your branding (.jpg) logo pictures for you, or if they are protecting the artwork that they did for you….
If you have paid someone for developing your new “brand”, they should have included “vector” file formats of your design such as Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or (.eps) vector files that could be reproduced in other software like Corel Draw, Quark (for Ad publish print media formats) and for reproduction with sign making software….
Vector Artwork includes all the lines and fills that makes a computer produced design and is ultimately “scale-able”…..Bitmap artwork such as .jpg picture artwork is not scale-able in that it pixelates and distorts when enlarged for uses such as exterior signage…
I will enjoy to do “mock ups” for improvements with signage layouts for you, but I will need “vector art” supplied (of your new brand design) to best show you art improvements that I can do for you…
The main art deal is the vector artwork for your “compass” part of your brand layout….I can match the font (lettering) copy, but would want to reproduce the “compass” in as high quality as possible for exterior signage….
