i believe ive ticked all your boxes :)
star is off centre now and made into a shooting star in order to keep the balance of the overall design
and your logo is neatly placed within the text as to not overcrowd the design

I really Love the star and the colors!

Is it possible to play with the possibility of the star being not so centered or moved around? Also, could you put some kids back in the middle and implement our logo somewhere in it?

The logo was attached and says Family Services of North Alabama.

The star idea is awesome and I like the gold! Could the blue be a little more poppy and bright? And could the kids be a different graphic?

Could you play with the design to make it more elegant and fancy? Maybe even replace the teal with a gold color and enhance the blue to a more royal blue that pops.
