I like the wordmark font, two tones, and creative picture marks. For #21, while I really like the design, my brain keeps trying to read it as CB or C3. #19 just looks like W in a circle. I'm no design artist, so Is that intentional? If yes, I'll admit I don't understand and ask why? #20 is definitely creative - in a good way. I'm going to hold off comments on that picture mark until I've had some time to let it sink in. Besides the cool font and two-tones, any creative ideas for the wordmark?
Hi Keegan, After talking with a colleague, we like the artful picturemark design of 20. One of the 'images' I see is as if you are looking down on two people shaking hands. This is really what supply chains are about - people, relationships, and agreements. Can you provide an example that plays to that theme?
What I like about #143: Implied relationship (shaking hands), technology (font), the chain symbol, and I can even make out a vague CW in the picturemark. The sideways 8 is the infinity symbol implying a continuous or ongoing process. All these are messages that are conveyed in a simple (memorable) design. I'd like to see the blue and grey swapped on the picturemark, but leave it the same on the wordmark (I want Chain emphasized and Wright de-emphasized). Also, I'd like the grey just a bit lighter.
Thanks Keegan. I agree with the blue and grey 'message.' Can we try a different color scheme just to see how it looks? I'd like to see #146 & #147 in dark blue and gold. If you look at the Gold Cup award under your avatar, something like that. I think it will need to be given a gradient, like chrome to work effectively though. Otherwise it will likely just look yellow, and I'd like to avoid that.
"Used with dark blue it [gold] suggests honesty, trustworthiness and success."
