I like #58 a lot, but I have two general concerns: I'm concerned about drawing attention to "CMA" now since it may remind people of "Country Music Awards." I've had several people mention that already... Also, while I like it, it may not be best to incorporate the piano, since we will be teaching other instruments as well.
For the above reasons, I'm leaning toward #4. It has a nice icon that we can reproduce on shirts, signs, letterheads, etc. We are open to similar icons that use general music symbols instead of specific instruments.
#85 looks great and is our favorite. Would you make a version of that one in muted grays and blues? Also, could you lay out the text so that the CMA lines up vertically (move the word "for" up next to "Center"). Thanks so much!
We still haven't quite settled on the text layout and the colors. For #86, could you try it in a different shade of brown - maybe a darker brown? We would also like to see the text laid out like this:
CENTER FOR MUSICAL ARTS (SLOGAN)
I think that may look a little more balanced. Thank you for making these revisions.
Okay thanks! We'll focus on the typography, then work on colors.
For #95 & #98, can you do lowercase except for the CMA -- Center for Musical Arts. Is the font in #92 different from #95? It looks slightly different to me and I think it looks nice. I like the line between Arts and the slogan, as in #86.
Thanks! I welcome your opinion. I like the text in #94 and #101 best. I am waiting to hear from my colleagues and then we will settle on one of those two.
The colors for #103 look happier to me. We want to look friendly and inviting. I like the colors in #105-108, but they look too much like our NFL football team's colors, which are black and gold.
